Ted was one of the sweetest souls I have ever met. His zest for life was unparalleled and it showed me how to embrace and appreciate all the things in life that bring you joy even if you are in the midst of pain. It was an absolute privilege to know Ted. His goodness and his love and affection for his family were wonderful to behold. His joy and contentment were really infectious and made him great company - both for his peers and for those of us a generation younger.
